$/ \ [*] <= To 'Ptolemy' : is A LINK to an expanded evaluation of the 'Cartouche' on the last line of hieroglyphic images. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The cartouche enabled a direct comparison between the way a Pharaoh's name may be pronounced when <= written in ancient Greek and the way this name may be pronounced when written as hieroglyphic images.
