the mental image of a specific 'moment' in which the word may be put
into play (as a plausible use) when that language is applied to explain what is
happening and (or) what matters.
To sum, this word is now capable of
resolving a scan or bridging a span and, as such, the word is an
appropriate answer to questions which post the designation of any
specific definition that is a member of the set which is given
in relation to, or as a reflection of, the primary word. In other words,
the primary word is the correct word to dictate if "what it is" is
pointed out, if a description that is its designate is now mentioned,
or, if one of its designates is brought up to be the topic. This set of definitions is
an assemblage of those performances which are spoken "about" when using the primary word
such that the primary word is the anchor which orients the relation of all of the
definitions which limit the extent of the use of the word such that each use of the primary word
to be defined is now a circumscribed region.
As the primary word is equivalent to each definition, the one may
be freely translated as any of the others such that the (simple) primary
word is a term for its designates. The term is able to stand in for each
definition in the set and, therefore, is capable of supporting all of
that that any of the specific definitions is carrying or conveying. If
this relationship is true, then the term means the same as the designate.
Now, the designate is thought to be a good definition for the term.
